John Dornellas from Florida now lives in Homer, Alaska.

He went there to spear halibut, and fell in love with the rugged beauty of the Alaskan wilderness. A proper frother who loves spearing, fishing and hunting moose.

He must have amazing skills of convincing. He managed to talk his wife into moving there bringing their kids along.

John has lead a very interesting life, growing up in Florida, has travelled the world surfing and spearfishing dogtooth tuna, wahoo and tuna.

But now his favourite fish is halibut.

In this episode we compare conditions and of course talk about fish!
